Gates open at 6:00 a.m.
Buildings are open from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Free Admission  •  Free Parking  • Food available on site

Part of Flint's "Back to the Bricks" Car Show - a Special "Show within the Show" held right on the very spot where General Motors first began, on Water Street, between national landmarks General Motors Factory One and the Durant-Dort Carriage Company Headquarters!  Hosted by the Buicktown Chapter of the Buick Club of America.  

Open to all BUICK show cars, barn finds, modified and works in progress!  See bottom for additional information.

  • Tours at the Durant-Dort Carriage Company Headquarters, the building that William C. "Billy" Durant set up his office with partner J. Dallas Dort to first build an empire that produced the most carriages and carts in the world, bestowing Flint with the moniker "The Vehicle City";  Durant, then, began building General Motors with the first building block, the Buick Motor Company
  • Special presentation at the DDCCH "Boys Under the Hood";  Told by local historian and radio show host, Gary L. Fisher of "Fish and the Flint Chronicles" on WFNT AM, "Fish" tells the real story about the birth of General Motors and the host of characters who helped it come to be; ONLY ONE chances to hear this fascinating story at the DDCC Headquarters - 11:00 a.m.  Make sure to show up early for a seat - Fish's presentations are always full
  • Exhibits to view in Factory One itself!  Special program, "Riviera by Buick:  Evolution of Design" given by Bill Porter, retired Buick Studio Chief Designer;  ONLY ONE presentation given at 2:00 p.m.
