A product of the Flint schools, Reggie graduated from Flint Southwestern, where he wrestled and played football. From there he went on to Dartmouth to play football, where he is recognized as their all-time greatest player ever. After that he went to the NFL, joining the Cincinnati Bengals, where he was recognized as the NFL Man of the Year, while also serving as a Cincinnati City Councilman. Along the way, he played in two Super Bowls with the Bengals. He is widely recognized as one of the greatest Bengals of all time and the greatest defensive player in the franchise’s history. After his playing days, he moved in to the corporate world where he served as the creator of the Walt Disney World ESPN Wide World of Sports, which he modeled after his experiences in Flint with the CANUSA and Olympian Games, and sports at Atwood Stadium. It became the gold standard of such facilities worldwide.  He also had to battle scores of health issues and other challenges along the way. He documented this journey in his book, Resilient By Nature.
